Knowledge Commons was developed as an integrated analysis and decision-making platform in complex, fast-moving environments. It was built to address a few core challenges in complex, collaborative work:

The information needed is split between different people, multiple teams and multiple organizations. Some of it is in people’s heads, some of it lives in documents. Assembling it is half the battle in addressing a challenge.

Capture

Make it Easy to Capture Everything.

Knowledge Commons can accept all kinds of inputs, either as uploads of audio, images and documents, or through massively parallel live streaming from either our apps or our encrypted mesh recorders – the Raven Recorder. The platform makes it easy to bring work in, no matter where it is happening. On-the-go ad hoc capture with our iOS and Android apps, online meeting capture with our native MacOS app, and wide input and engagement with survey tools and web apps – everything feeds into the knowledge engine.

Parallel by design. The structure is Project → Session → Round → Group, where each group is its own live conversation. Most tools record one stream. Knowledge Commons is built for a roomful at once, organizing, analyzing and synthesizing in real time, automatically.

Analyze

Structured intelligence, not just a transcript.

Speech becomes attributed — or anonymized — text, segmented and tagged by topic, then assembled into a temporally-aware knowledge graph: what was said, about what, and when. As thinking shifts across rounds and sessions, the graph remembers the change. Documents are held in context, so that the conversation, the inputs and the outputs all work into a common record.

Proposed, then confirmed. The system never decides silently. Structure, boundaries, and themes are surfaced as proposals your team reviews and accepts. You stay in control of the record.

While actively cataloging and sorting knowledge as it emerges, the system isn’t just for storage: all knowledge becomes a building block for your solution. With our Deep Documents, you can clip anything from anywhere to weave threads together. With the Feed and Wiki, decisions and emerging ideas can be challenged, enriched and improved by everyone in the process.

The raw source is always preserved and never modified. Everything the AI produces is traceable back to its source. You always know exactly what an answer was based on, and you can verify it. This is not a chatbot — it’s a sovereign knowledge system with full audibility.

The privacy tier

Provenance without attribution.

Built around the Chatham House Rule so people speak freely. Every node and edge is linked to its exact source chunk and timestamp, yet stripped of individual speaker identity. A Speaker Identification mode is available when a project needs individual contribution metrics — you choose the level of privacy per project.
