The platform
Hardware and Software. Modular by design, integrated by choice, never locked in.
Knowledge Commons is two complementary products. Each is valuable on its own. Together they do something neither can do alone — and you’re never required to buy both, or to give up the tools you already have.
Hardware
The Recorders — capture at a scale that wasn’t practical before
A purpose-built hardware platform for large-scale parallel capture. Place a recorder with every group and record many conversations at once — across a room of breakout tables, a multi-room consultation, or a field deployment — over a local mesh, at the edge, with no internet required.
Each unit pairs an on-device interface (LCD + manual controls), 48 kHz stereo capture, and an onboard UPS for 4–6 hours of autonomous operation. The rugged, flight-compliant base station processes themes, decisions, and open items entirely on-device.
Use them with us, or with what you already run. The Recorders can feed the Knowledge Commons platform, or capture parallel groups for a system you already use. They’re a capture layer, not a trap.
Software · Dual-Brain
The Knowledge Commons platform — assembly into collective intelligence
Two cognitive engines work in concert: semantic memory for what things mean, and concept mapping for how ideas interact and evolve. Together they turn captured conversation into a living Topics & Themes graph — with Consensus Hubs, Idea Evolution across sessions, and Outlier Detection — plus plain-language answers cited to source.
Bring your own inputs. Already have recordings, transcripts, or documents from elsewhere? Feed them straight in. The platform cares about assembling material into intelligence you can use and own — not where it came from.
Better together
Buy either. Buy both. Bring your own.
Nothing here is built to lock you in — sovereignty over your data comes with freedom over your stack. But the integrated platform is where the real value lives: capture and assembly happen continuously, and collective intelligence emerges in real time and persists.
